History
Charlie Scott and Marc Daudon formed Cascadia Consulting Group to meet a growing need for strategic planning around waste management and recycling challenges in the Northwest. Incorporated in 1993, the company integrated high-level research and planning expertise with an environmental focus, quickly becoming an important resource for local and regional decision makers. In the late 1990s, Cascadia began to gain a foothold in states outside of the Northwest, including California, Iowa, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Hawaii. At the same time, we expanded our skills and expertise to meet a growing national need for clear analyses, insightful research, and creative problem solving on a broad range of environmental and sustainability topics. Over recent years, Cascadia has grown to specialize in such areas as water conservation, natural resource management, climate change, biodiversity, green business, and sustainability.
Today, Cascadia continues to provide high-quality, creative, data-driven solutions to public and private sector clients across the country. We have expanded from our original Seattle office to open a Berkeley office in 2009 and to merge with Environmental Planning Consultants of San Jose in 2010. Our interdisciplinary team provides services ranging from research, planning, and policy assessment to facilitation, social marketing, and beyond.
Throughout its transitions, Cascadia's mission has remained the same: to provide high-quality services that make a difference to our clients and the environment.
Cascadia is seen as a trusted resource by the Seattle area business community due in large part to their technical competence, business insight, and excellent follow-through.
