Cascadians in the classroom
September 09, 2009 -
Several Cascadians have headed back to the classroom recently.
Matt Abbott, Project Assistant, just began his first year of study in the MBA program in Sustainable Business at the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI). BGI is the first graduate school in the U.S. to offer an MBA in Sustainable Business. He will continue to work at Cascadia while pursuing his degree. Good luck, Matt!
Senior Associate Katie Kennedy is starting the Master Home Environmentalist training next week through the American Lung Association® in Washington. Following the 35-hour training, Katie will donate 35 hours conducting home assessments and other outreach to support the program’s mission to “promote lung health by increasing awareness of home environmental pollutants and encouraging action to reduce exposure.”
Laila Parker, Associate, recently successfully completed the Low Impact Development Technical Training Program and associated tests run by Washington State University Extension.
