Our People

Julie serves as Cascadia's business development coordinator, ensuring that proposals, marketing, and outreach materials convey the quality and integrity for which Cascadia is known. Julie contributes writing, editing, research, and design assistance to a broad range of projects and programs. Recent projects include grantwriting for the Environmental Education Association of Washington Sustainable Design Project, a literature review on "Recycling and Economic Development" for the King County LinkUp program, and report designs for the Pierce County Sustainability Committee, the Issaquah Sustainability Sounding Board, and the Skokomish Tribe. Her education and prior work experience include high level writing and research, technical editing, promotional design, and web development. Julie holds a BA in English Literature from Michigan State University, with cognates in Philosophy and Environmental Journalism.
