Shannon conducts quantitative analyses that provide public and private sector clients with real-world, data-driven results that inform decision making. She recently developed a calculator to help businesses evaluate the benefits of waste reduction and recycling strategies and helped prepare an inventory of the City of Auburn’s baseline greenhouse gas emissions. Shannon has updated Cascadia’s carbon calculator and has customized the calculator for various businesses and municipal clients. She has also used the calculator to measure and document carbon emissions and identify priority actions for energy efficiency improvements. Shannon graduated from Middlebury College summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Economics. When she’s not working on an Excel spreadsheet, you can find Shannon on a sailboat on Lake Washington or Puget Sound.
