Jessica uses her strong writing and analytical skills to help clients develop and improve effective programs. She has quantitative research experience in both economic and environmental issues. Her projects include analyzing waste composition data for Seattle, King County, and Chicago; using economic models to estimate current spending on waste management in Washington State and environmental spending on Puget Sound; researching and developing policy recommendations around environmental service markets, recycling, and hazardous waste; and quantitatively evaluating behavior change programs such as Seattle Public Utilities' Green Gardening Program. Jessica writes a wide variety of clear and approachable documents from detailed waste composition studies and comprehensive background research reports to targeted project summaries and brief technical memos. Previously she worked as a research consultant for Sightline Institute, where she still volunteers. Jessica graduated from Whitman College summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Economics.
