Dieter manages recruitment, sample collection, and analysis needs for a number of Cascadia projects. Dieter’s greatest skills lie in data analysis, problem-solving, and team management. He has managed the collection of thousands of MSW, recyclables, C&D, and organics samples for clients such as the Pentagon, New York City, the State of California, Washington State, King County, and the city of San Jose and created waste modeling systems for King County, the City of Palo Alto, Spokane County, Grant County, and the State of Illinois. Dieter acts as the data manager for projects big and small at Cascadia and assisted with the development of Cascadia’s data QA/QC process. He holds a BS in Sustainable Resources and a BS in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology from the University of Washington. In violation of Cascadia’s flexible workplace reputation, Dieter is unable to touch his toes.
