Client: Auburn, WA

Cascadia worked closely with City of Auburn, Washington staff to conduct a municipal and community greenhouse gas inventory for the City. The inventory was produced using ICLEI's Clean Air Climate Protection (CACP) software, and will provide the City with baseline data surrounding climate impacts, allowing staff to act strategically and meet the City’s climate reductions goals. Auburn staff was  heavily involved with setting the scope and data collection. In addition to helping build data collection tools, methodology, and processes to help the City set a baseline, Cascadia will train Auburn staff on to ensure that the inventory can be replicated annually.

Following the inventory, Cascadia has worked with Auburn to identify appropriate climate action best practices to help Auburn meet its emission reduction goals.
