Client: Washington State Department of Ecology

For the Washington Department of Ecology’s Beyond Waste Plan, Cascadia researched and wrote an issue paper on making sustainable building practices the norm in Washington State.  Our work included interviewing stakeholders from around the state to identify barriers to increased CDL recycling and other sustainable building practices, and to gather their input on the best ways Ecology could act to overcome these barriers.  Cascadia developed an action plan with short term, near term, and long term recommendations for Ecology to pursue. These recommendations are now a fundamental part of the Beyond Waste Plan.
