Client: Washington State Recycling Association

The Washington State Recycling Association is a non-profit association of 300+ member companies, governments, organizations, and individuals, and is dedicated to promoting recycling throughout the state.  Cascadia worked with WSRA staff and event planners to measure for the first time, the footprint of WSRA’s 28th Annual Conference and Trade Show themed “Recycling: Reducing Our Footprint.”  Taking into account transportation for the 250 event attendees, 3 nights at the Pasco, WA Red Lion hotel, and various materials consumed during the conference, Cascadia delivered a detailed breakdown of the climate impact of this important event in a presentation to attendees, the hotel and WSRA staff.
