Environmental Performance Audit
Client: Ivar's, Inc.
This iconic Seattle restaurant chain desired a better understanding of its current environmental practices, resource consumption, and how it stood up against other green leaders in its industry. Cascadia consultants assessed each of the Ivar’s five divisions – full service restaurants, stadium stands, Kidd Valley locations, fish bars, and its chowder manufacturing plant. As a result of Cascadia’s recommendations, Ivar’s implemented a range of solutions from more efficient lighting to enhanced recycling and composting programs.

Conducting an assessment of our environmental impact allowed us to more clearly define and share our progress with guests and employees, as well as to create benchmarks and strategies for the future. Working with Cascadia Consulting on our hotel footprint was an incredibly successful experience and we are planning to continue our work with them to explore the impact of additional areas of our operation.
