Pagliacci Carbon Footprint
Client: Pagliacci Pizza
Pagliacci Pizza is a Seattle-based pizza chain that is committed to community involvement and environmental difference. Cascadia Consulting Group conducted a carbon footprint for Pagliacci’s Seattle operations to give the chain a better sense of their climate impacts. The footprint analysis included a variety of Pagliacci’s business operations: transportation from deliveries, suppliers and business travel, energy used for cooking, refrigeration and at their restaurants, paper usage in pizza boxes, inserts and copy paper used in offices. Key findings and recommendations were presented to the company’s C-level executives for consideration in future business planning. With this information, Pagliacci was able to focus more effort on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in strategic areas.

Conducting an assessment of our environmental impact allowed us to more clearly define and share our progress with guests and employees, as well as to create benchmarks and strategies for the future. Working with Cascadia Consulting on our hotel footprint was an incredibly successful experience and we are planning to continue our work with them to explore the impact of additional areas of our operation.
