Carbon Footprint Assessment
Client: Home Street Bank
HomeStreet Bank is a Northwest based bank with a solid reputation for community involvement and environmental stewardship. In collaboration with the Seattle Climate Partnership, Cascadia worked with HomeStreet Bank to conduct a comprehensive carbon footprint for five Seattle branches, as well as measuring material use and business travel activities throughout offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Hawaii. With this information, HomeStreet Bank is now in the process of setting realistic goals, and will soon begin working to achieve and measure their success.

Conducting an assessment of our environmental impact allowed us to more clearly define and share our progress with guests and employees, as well as to create benchmarks and strategies for the future. Working with Cascadia Consulting on our hotel footprint was an incredibly successful experience and we are planning to continue our work with them to explore the impact of additional areas of our operation.
