Social Marketing Strategy for Businesses to Prevent Stormwater Pollution
Client: Redmond, WA
Cascadia led a team to conduct foundational research and design a targeted outreach plan that would engage businesses in the City of Redmond's (WA) downtown business district to undertake specific actions to prevent stormwater pollution and protect the local aquifer used for drinking water. The resulting plan incorporated social marketing strategies designed to resonate with Redmond businesses, introducing cost-effective operational alternatives that would reduce pollution threats to the City's stormwater system and groundwater quality.

"Cascadia writes plans that we use, that don’t sit idly on a shelf. Their staff has a clear understanding of the material, can communicate it effectively and knows the right questions to ask. They are fast, efficient and on budget and stick to their tasks. If we had to pick our consultant all over again, it would be Cascadia."
