GHG Footprint and LEED EB Certification
Client: Washington State Convention and Trade Center

Cascadia managed a team of consultants to guide the Washington State Convention and Trade Center (WSCTC) toward the achievement of USGBC LEED-EB certification. The work involved scheduling and performing all necessary assessments and audits of the existing facilities to establish baseline information on commuting, purchasing, water use, waste and recycling, and energy use. As a result of this analysis, the WSCTC was aware of which points they could likely achieve as well as what additional steps would be necessary to reach the desired LEED certification level.

I was very pleased with the experience we had recently working with Cascadia to develop our carbon inventory and finalize our sustainable action guide. It’s a very daunting task to begin the process of changing the way we do business and measure our success so to have the combination of expertise and patience that you brought to the effort really made it enjoyable. I look forward to continuing to work with Cascadia as BNBuilders moves farther and farther along in this process.
