Research Study for the North Creek Water Quality Education Program
Client: Bothell, WA
To assess current behaviors, awareness of water quality issues, and effective education strategies and messages, Cascadia examined how Bothell businesses and residents understand the relationships between water quality and inputs of fecal coliform. The extensive research included: six focus groups, 200 in-person interviews, key informant interviews and customer satisfaction surveys and assessment of survey results. The City of Bothell used results from this research to craft and guide a water quality education program that targets both businesses and residents in the North Creek watershed.  The purpose of the education is to raise awareness about North Creek and how their everyday actions impact its water quality and the flora and fauna of its watershed.

Cascadia writes plans that we use, that don’t sit idly on a shelf. Their staff has a clear understanding of the material, can communicate it effectively and knows the right questions to ask. They are fast, efficient and on budget and stick to their tasks. If we had to pick our consultant all over again, it would be Cascadia.
