Drayton Harbor Watershed Outreach
Client: Puget Sound Partnership
Cascadia designed an intercept survey to measure watershed residents’ knowledge of watershed issues in the Drayton Harbor watershed and discover the barriers to their current outreach efforts. To help conduct the survey, Cascadia thoroughly trained local surveyors and coordinated all survey logistics. Cascadia compiled and analyzed the data collected and wrote a report that included recommendations for key outreach messages for the targeted audiences. In addition, Cascadia designed an education piece that was used for the educational boat tours and created an evaluation that measured the effectiveness of the tours. Cascadia collected and analyzed the evaluation data and wrote a final report on the findings which will be used to further improve future outreach strategies.

Cascadia writes plans that we use, that don’t sit idly on a shelf. Their staff has a clear understanding of the material, can communicate it effectively and knows the right questions to ask. They are fast, efficient and on budget and stick to their tasks. If we had to pick our consultant all over again, it would be Cascadia.
