Washington Biodiversity Conservation Strategy
Client: Washington Biodiversity Council
After years of research and study on biodiversity, the State of Washington needed to develop a clear and definitive point-by-point 30-year strategy for conservation that was supported by both science and stakeholders.  To facilitate the process and write the strategy document, the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office and the Washington Biodiversity Council retained Cascadia Consulting Group.  Through nimble meeting and stakeholder facilitation, extensive research, and detailed analysis, Cascadia helped the State and the Council to determine recommendations that can most effectively conserve Washington’s natural heritage.  The Executive Summary of the strategy may be found here; the full strategy, with more information on the Biodiversity Council, is here.

Cascadia writes plans that we use, that don’t sit idly on a shelf. Their staff has a clear understanding of the material, can communicate it effectively and knows the right questions to ask. They are fast, efficient and on budget and stick to their tasks. If we had to pick our consultant all over again, it would be Cascadia.
