Angela Pietschmann supports climate and natural resources management projects at Cascadia through research, analysis, and writing. Before joining Cascadia, Angela worked at Seattle Public Utilities in the Solid Waste Division where she led research and analysis on Seattle’s bag ban policy and supported commercial waste diversion efforts through recycling and composting program outreach and technical assistance. She brings experience in project management, data analysis, process improvement, and report writing. Angela has an MPA from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance with a specialization in Environmental Policy and Management. She also has a BS in Accounting with a minor in Information Systems Management from Penn State University. Outside of the office you can find her hiking her way through the Pacific Northwest or exploring the Seattle music scene.
