Angela Pietschmann

Senior Associate


Background

With over a decade of project management experience, Angela leads and supports climate action planning and natural resource management projects at Cascadia. A number-cruncher at heart, Angela uses her accounting background to inventory/analyze greenhouse gas emissions, build quantiative forecasts/models, and advise on high-impact mitigation strategies. She has served as lead writer on a number of complex, high-profile, multi-stakeholder strategic planning efforts including the State of Washington’s Orca Task Force and Walla Walla Water 2050 Strategic Plan. Angela also sits on Cascadia’s Editorial and Quality Control Boards.

 

Prior to joining Cascadia, Angela worked as a project manager, accountant/auditor, and consultant. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on Environmental Policy & Management from the University of Washington (Evans School of Public Policy & Governance) and a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University.
