Miguel Nigenda

Miguel couples a strong analytical skillset with a passion for high-level field work to provide support for a wide variety of projects in Cascadia’s Recycling and Materials Management line of business. He is equally as comfortable talking to multifamily residents about recycling in the Pacific Northwest as he is collecting landfill samples in the Phoenix desert. Prior to joining Cascadia, Miguel developed a love of educating and engaging with the public while volunteering at Seattle’s Pacific Science Center. His outreach and customer service skills were refined when he went on to work as a sales representative for a local insurance company. Miguel studied Financial Engineering at the Jesuit university ITESO, located in Tlaquepaque, Mexico. When he is out of the office, you can find Miguel learning how to salsa, or working to maintain his black belt in Shaolin Kung Fu. He also sports the only man bun at Cascadia, which (kind of) helps to keep him dry as he roams the rainy streets of Seattle searching for the ultimate cookie experience.
