Michael has extensive expertise in water and energy efficiency, stormwater, and green business. He is currently working on several water efficiency projects for Cascadia’s public sector clients.
Before joining Cascadia, Michael worked on thousands of water and energy efficiency and green building projects. He helped develop and implement indoor and outdoor water efficiency programs for the cities of Bellingham and Everett, the Cascade Water Alliance, the National Renewable Energy Lab, and Stanford University. He has conducted residential and commercial energy efficiency work for Puget Sound Energy, the Bonneville Power Administration, SBW Consulting, and the Redhorse Corporation. For over 14 years he developed curriculum and taught classes on water efficiency to working professionals in the Building Operator Certification Program and the Sustainable Building Advisor Program.
Outside of Cascadia, Michael likes to work in his large garden and hike around Vashon Island, where he lives with his wife.
