Outreach and Technical Assistance

Cascadia informs, educates, and engages residents and businesses around waste reduction and recycling. We integrate community education with business outreach and media coverage, delivering messages that reinforce themselves through repetition and exposure. Clients report that Cascadia’s community-based social marketing concepts and high caliber (yet cost effective) education, outreach, and technical assistance programs have helped them to effectively stimulate widespread changes in behavior.

 

We identify key barriers to change, design and implement effective outreach programs, provide in-person waste diversion technical assistance, and evaluate program outcomes. We also offer “train the trainer” services, volunteer training and coordination, and event planning around solid waste reduction, recycling, and composting.
