Design and Communications Specialist (Seattle, WA; Oakland, CA; or Remote)
Cascadia is seeking a Design and Communications Specialist to work as a core member of Cascadia’s creative services team, using graphic design and creative copy writing skills to develop effective, inclusive marketing and outreach materials that meet audiences where they are. The selected candidate will work as part of a small, talented group of writers and designers supporting projects focused on circular economy, sustainable transportation, natural resource management, climate change, and community resilience. Cascadia is seeking a Waste Characterization Project Coordinator to support our waste diversion and reduction programs by performing waste characterization studies focused on recycling and composting throughout North America. This work will require having a background in and/or knowledge of recycling, organics, and waste programs, as well as competencies in team building and problem-solving.
